That was the easiest account set up I’ve ever done. Not sure why everyone is having issues creating the account…? Very irritating, better off just using a web browser which I have never had an issue with or been locked out of my account nor have I had invalid log ins.

Using this app I’ve been locked out of my account and numerous invalid log-ins. It would be really nice if they could add other states too—that would make it even better. This month the app will also add features that let users search for permits with the Alcohol Beverage Commission (report TennCare Fraud), search for unclaimed property, and make requests for vital records such as birth certificates. The addition follows other useful features previously added to MyTN such as allowing TDHS customers to search for licensed child care agencies and report the abuse of vulnerable adults.

From the convenience of your smartphone, you can access many of the self-service features of TennCare on the web. You can also access helpful resources for bullying (mental health), and substance abuse. Tennessee’s MyTN app launched in February 2019 to provide a single point of access and communication to all state government services through a mobile app. “Many of our customers only have access to the internet through their smartphones and this app will give them a direct way to do their business from home so they can go about living their lives.” The developer has not yet indicated which accessibility features this app supports.
